Taken a few months after the defeat of California's Prop 19 ballot, Lifted is a photographic exploration of the use of marijuana. The series consists of 9 photographs, each attempting to portray either a direct reference to smoking or a conceptual interpretation. These photos serve to present marijuana as either celebrated or ominous. Whether this may be viewed as good or bad is left entirely to personal interpretation.
